It’s been 20 years since the world lost one of its most gifted, respected, and haunted musicians. Warren Zevon bravely battled a rare form of cancer, writing, recording, and performing his music, right up to the last day of his ‘Dirty Life and Times’.
Revered as a generational songwriter by industry peers, Warren enjoyed a cult following with limited commercial success. His mainstream mega-hits, Werewolves of London and Lawyers, Guns & Money, are a small sample of a vast catalog with songs recorded by Linda Ronstadt, the Turtles, Jerry Garcia, and the evening’s host, Pat Guadagno, whose cover of Warren’s Don’t Let Us Get Sick became an international classic when it was featured in Showtime’s award-winning series, CALIFORNICATION.
To honor and celebrate the music of Warren Zevon, Guadagno has assembled an All-Star cast that includes Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famer Vini Lopez, Low Cut Connie’s Adam Weiner, and RCA recording artist Jake Thistle.
