“The most magical collaborative performance I have ever seen” – Seth S

The dynamic trio of Pat Guadagno, Lisa Bouchelle and NYC favorite James Maddock, drive a powerhouse band of ‘First Call’ musicians, including Saturday Night Live drummer Shawn Pelton, down 20,000 roads to deliver The Music of Gram Parsons, a soulful celebration of one of American music’s most influential pioneers

Widely regarded as the “Father of Country Rock,” Gram Parsons reshaped popular music by bridging genres and generations. His innovative approach paved the way for The Eagles, Buffalo Springfield, and Poco, leaving an indelible mark on artists ranging from The Rolling Stones to Aretha Franklin.

In a well-documented turbulent, brief, career, Gram Parsons left a timeless body of work with The Flying Burrito Brothers and groundbreaking collaborations with Emmylou Harris.

In 1968 He joined The Byrds for a single album, hijacking the band’s original concept to create ‘the purest country record a Rock band ever made’. Nashville was appalled, rock audiences bewildered and Sweetheart of the Rodeo became one of the foundational documents of American music.

Every note carries the story of a visionary who created deeply personal songs with an unmistakable blend of country and soul,” says Pat Guadagno. “Our show is about bringing our own voices to honor that spirit and keep it alive for longtime fans and sharing it with new ones.”

Driven by three unmistakable, soulful, road-tested voices, backed by a kick-ass band – it’s a celebration that breathes, burns, and honors a legacy that refuses to fade.

20,000 Roads continues Pat Guadagno’s acclaimed series of musical celebrations – Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen), The Heart of Saturday Night (Tom Waits), Enjoy Every Sandwich (Warren Zevon), 100 Years of Hank (Hank Williams), Souvenirs (John Prine), A Marvelous Night (Van Morrison), and BobFest (Bob Dylan) – honoring iconic songwriters delivering their words with the reverence, authenticity and passion that has become Guadagno’s trademark.
